Ngawen District Office Junction, Ngawen Live Cam

This camera looks down on a wide three-way junction in the town of Ngawen, Gunungkidul, with food stalls and small shops along the far side. Painted cross marks on the asphalt and an orange plastic barrier show where traffic is guided through.

Ngawen is a district in the north-east of Gunungkidul Regency in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. Here the main road from Nglipar meets Jalan Ngawen-Sambirejo, which leads north-east, while the main road continues south-east. OpenStreetMap names the junction after the district office.

The camera sits at one corner of the junction on a raised mount and keeps a fixed framing all day. The foreground is bare asphalt with a worn white lane line, so lorries, cars and motorbikes are easy to follow as they swing round the corner. A second camera at the same junction faces another side.
