TK Pont Noir, Val Cenis Live Cam

A drag lift climbs the nursery slope at Val Cenis, above the villages of the Haute Maurienne in the French Alps. The webcam turns across the piste and the valley floor below it.

The resort was assembled in 1967 out of two old villages, Lanslebourg and Lanslevillard, which is why the buildings down in the valley look like farms rather than a purpose-built station.

One of the runs from the top is an easy green track that winds ten kilometres down the mountain, among the longest of its kind anywhere. The road behind climbs to the Mont Cenis pass and the Italian border.
