A view across one of Primorsko's paved squares, with tensile sun shades, timber planters and the resort behind. It sits between the seafront and the hotel district.

White fabric canopies stand on steel masts, benches are set into planters of ornamental grass, and a supermarket and a coffee kiosk face the square from the far side, with a large hotel block closing the view. It is a modern space built for the summer crowds and it reads as such — near-empty in the morning, filling from late afternoon.

Primorsko is one of the busier Bulgarian Black Sea resorts, with a population that multiplies several times over between June and September.
