Praia dos Milionários, Brazil Live Cam

Palms and low houses line the shore at Praia dos Milionários, a small beach on the São Paulo coast of Brazil. A wooded headland closes the left of the bay, and tower blocks on the far side of the water mark the neighbouring city.

The beach lies in São Vicente, the oldest Portuguese town in Brazil, founded in 1532 and now part of the Baixada Santista conurbation. Santos, its port and its container terminals are a few kilometres along the same coastline.

Water here is sheltered compared with the open Atlantic beaches nearby, and the sand narrows considerably at high tide. The webcam looks down on the bay from the hillside above the sand, with the green slopes of the Serra do Mar behind the built-up strip.
