East Hampton Library Main St Live Cam

Route 27 meets Route 114 outside the East Hampton Library, and this webcam watches the junction from the lawn. Main Street runs across the frame, shaded by mature trees on both sides.

East Hampton is near the eastern end of Long Island, in the group of villages known as the Hamptons. Route 27, the Montauk Highway, is the single road that carries almost all traffic out to Montauk Point.

Summer weekends turn this junction into a queue in both directions, and the picture is used locally as a traffic check. Out of season the same view is close to empty.
