Bay Street, Cruz Bay Live Cam

This camera looks along Bay Street in Cruz Bay, a narrow two-lane road that runs beside the beach on Saint John. A stone retaining wall with steps and a railed building rises on the left, while trees, sand and a glimpse of water edge the right.

Cruz Bay is the main town and ferry port of Saint John, the smallest of the three main US Virgin Islands. Ferries from Red Hook on Saint Thomas arrive at the waterfront a short walk from here, and much of the island beyond the town lies inside Virgin Islands National Park.

The camera is fixed and aimed up the road, so the double yellow line, a manhole cover and the curve of the street stay in place in every frame. Cars, pickups and open-top jeeps pass through, and the shadow of the wall and trees moves across the asphalt. Other cameras on the same building face the beach and the bar deck.
