Susaninskaya Square, Kostroma Live Cam

This live webcam shows the historic Susaninskaya Square in the centre of Kostroma, Russia, surrounded by Russian classical-style architecture. At the northern end stands the Fire Tower, a symbol of the city, built in the 1820s and 35 metres tall. It was once a guardhouse and later, in the 1860s, a fire station.

On the right is the Gauptvakhta museum, which houses military exhibits, and the 1824 Borschov Mansion, built for General Lieutenant Sergey Borschov and now the city's courthouse. Nine city streets meet at this central square. The map further down the page shows the square in the capital of Kostroma Oblast.
