Obor Square Live, Romania Cam

Obor is a large road junction in the north-east of Bucharest, in Romania, with a fountain at the middle of the roundabout. The webcam looks over the traffic, trams and buses.

The market beside it has traded on this ground since the eighteenth century and is the oldest and largest in the city: a covered hall with rows of open stalls around it, selling produce brought in from the plain each morning.

The junction is one of the busiest in Bucharest and carries several tram routes as well as the road traffic. The blocks around it went up in the 1970s and 1980s over the older quarter.
