Weather and time
This camera looks across Tysiąclecia Państwa Polskiego Street in Dąbrowa Białostocka, a small town in the Podlaskie region of Poland. A paved car park fills the foreground, and beyond the roadway runs a separate cycle path lined with a row of young trees.
Dąbrowa Białostocka has about five thousand residents and lies in Sokółka County, on the Kropiwna, a small tributary of the Biebrza. The settlement grew up around a parish church in the second half of the 16th century, and a privilege of King Augustus II granted it fairs in 1713. Until 1961 the town was called Dąbrowa Grodzieńska.
The caption names the local cooperative bank, whose building and car park occupy the near side of the street. The road narrows into the distance on the left between low houses, and a pale green multi-storey building stands behind the trees on the right.
