Baran Primary School Road, Rongkop Live Cam

This view shows a curving village road beside SD Baran 2 in the Baran hamlet of Rongkop, Gunungkidul. A yellow centre line and white edge lines follow the bend between two masonry walls.

Baran is a hamlet of Karangwuni village in Rongkop subdistrict, in the south-east of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The district lies in hilly limestone country, and local roads often run along cut slopes and retaining walls like these. Pasar Baran, the local market, is about 1.4 km to the west.

The camera is mounted above the roadside and looks along the bend, with a palm tree and a red and white patterned wall on the left. On the right a stone retaining wall rises to a landing with steps, signboards and a street lamp. The frames from morning and afternoon show the same fixed view, and the road is empty in both.
