La Plagne - Colorado, France Live Cam

The Colorado area at La Plagne Centre lies below this view, at 1,970 metres in the Tarentaise valley of the French Alps. Empty ski racks stand in the foreground out of season, and the tall apartment block that anchors the resort closes the view.

This point is the start of the Colorado toboggan run and the Buffalo Park fun slope, with three lifts, ski schools and shops around it. La Plagne is linked to Les Arcs across the valley by cable car, and together they form the Paradiski area.

In winter everything in the frame is under snow and moving; in summer it is grass, gravel and mountain bikes. The same camera therefore shows two completely different places depending on the month.
