5ª Avenida, Balneário Camboriú Live Cam

Fifth Avenue runs through the Vila Real district of Balneário Camboriú, a block or two inland from the beach front in Santa Catarina, Brazil. The camera watches the junction with Rua Araquari from above the pavement.

The avenue is one of the routes between the seafront and the BR-101 highway, which makes it busier than its width suggests. A painted lane along the kerb is reserved for cyclists and shared with buses at the stops.

Balneário Camboriú is a resort of about a hundred and fifty thousand residents that takes in several times that number in January. Traffic on this junction is a reasonable measure of how full the city is on any given day.
