Arvidsjaur is a town in the Swedish province of Lapland, with a population of about 4,600. It is known for Arctic char fishing and has snowmobiling and cross-country skiing in winter. It is also one of the world's main winter car-testing areas for the automobile industry, with its own public airport and an exhibition on the history of car testing.
