Plaza del Ayuntamiento Live Cam

Plaza del Ayuntamiento, the main square of Valencia on the Spanish Mediterranean coast, lies below this view. A round pavilion and flower stalls stand in the middle, with the town hall and the post office building around them.

This is where the city gathers for everything: in March, during Fallas, a deafening daytime firework display is set off on this square every day for three weeks. On the last Sunday of each month the square is closed to traffic and given over to events.

The fountain at the northern end is lit in changing colours after dark. Traffic otherwise circles the square continuously, which is what the camera shows most of the year.
