Neustadt West Side Harbour, Schleswig-Holstein Live Cam

The harbour channel at Neustadt in Holstein lies below this webcam, on the Baltic coast of northern Germany. Boats lie along both quays, and the brick church tower of the old town stands above the roofs behind them.

The channel in view links the Bay of Lübeck with the inland lake behind the town and works as the harbour, with fishing boats, yachts and a shipyard along it. The Gothic church on the skyline dates from the fourteenth century.

The quayside restaurants fill through the summer season. Winter storms out of the northeast push water up the channel, and the town is quiet.
