Frankfurt Airport Spotting Live Cam

The apron at Frankfurt Airport fills this view, at the largest air hub in Germany, in the state of Hesse. Lufthansa aircraft stand at the terminal gates, and the taxiway in front of them runs the full width of the frame.

Frankfurt works four runways and two terminals, and is the main base of Lufthansa, so wide-bodies bound for Asia and the Americas are on the ground here through the middle of the day. Ground vehicles, tugs and fuel trucks cross the apron continuously between movements.

In winter the aircraft in view are sprayed with de-icing fluid before pushback and the apron turns grey with slush. The stream is run by a plane spotter based at the field.
