Causeway Bay and Victoria Harbour lie below this webcam, which films from a high floor on the north shore of Hong Kong Island. The typhoon shelter fills the foreground with moored yachts and small craft, held in by a long stone breakwater.

The elevated Island Eastern Corridor runs along the left of the frame, and the convention centre with its curved roof stands at the water's edge further west. Beyond the harbour lie the Kowloon waterfront and the ridges behind it, with ferries and working boats crossing the channel all day.

The haze over the water changes constantly and often hides the far shore altogether. After dark the towers on both sides light up, and during a typhoon warning the shelter below fills with boats brought in from open moorings.
