North Castle Heights Avenue leads north from West Main Street to the former Castle Heights Military Academy campus, founded in 1902 and closed in 1986. Its historic district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996, and restored buildings now house city offices and a local history museum. West Main Street here is part of the US 70 Business route.

Unlike the other West Main Street cameras, this one watches a campus-edge corner rather than a retail strip: signal heads, painted turn arrows on the side street and a grassy island sit in front of the wall and a large tree.
