Cortexandra, Sestu Live Cam

This camera looks south-west from Cortexandra, in the town of Sestu north of Cagliari, over a wide road junction and low business buildings. Hills and mountains line the horizon on the right, beyond a flat stretch of countryside.

Sestu is a municipality in the Metropolitan City of Cagliari in Sardinia, about ten kilometres north of the regional capital, and Cortexandra lies within its territory. The ridges on the far right lie in the direction of the Monte Arcosu nature reserve, south-west of Cagliari.

The view is fixed and gives a high vantage over an everyday suburban scene: cars passing through the junction, car parks and warehouses on either side, and a large share of sky above. It shows an inland, working part of the Cagliari area, not the seafront, and the horizon is clear enough to show how the weather is moving across the plain.
