Trowono Junction, Paliyan Live Cam

This traffic view covers a T-junction on the Jalan Lintas Selatan near Trowono in Paliyan, Gunungkidul. Orange plastic barriers mark a white-striped island between the roads that meet here.

Trowono is a hamlet of Karangasem village in Paliyan subdistrict, in the south of the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The surrounding land is part of the Gunung Sewu karst hills. Jalan Lintas Selatan, locally called JJLS, is the southern route that runs along this side of Java. A primary school, SD Trowono I, stands close to the junction.

The camera looks down on the junction from the roadside, so the left arm, the curving road ahead and the wide asphalt in front are all in view. Small roadside stalls, signboards and an old balustrade wall line the corner. In frames from different days the view stays the same, and motorbikes are the most common traffic.
