Live Cams in Windermere

Windermere, United Kingdom (UK)

Windermere is the largest natural lake in England, about 18 kilometres long and up to 64 metres deep, set among the fells of the Lake District in Cumbria. The small town of the same name lies less than a kilometre east of the lake and forms a single built-up area with Bowness-on-Windermere on the shore. The town grew up around the railway station opened in 1847, and since then the lake has drawn visitors in large numbers. The Lake District has been a national park since 1951 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2017.
