Live Cams in Urk

Urk, Netherlands

Urk was an island in the Zuiderzee until the 1940s, when the Noordoostpolder was drained around it; today it is a town in Flevoland that still looks to the water. It has kept its fishing fleet, its harbours and its lighthouse, and the old village sits on the clay hill that once rose from the sea. All four cameras are in the port – at the Werkhaven, the Westhavenkade, the Dormakade and the Staversekade – where fishing boats and yachts moor.
