Live Cams in Kunene Region
Kunene Region, Namibia
Kunene is a region in northwestern Namibia, named after the Kunene River that forms its border with Angola; its capital is Opuwo. It is one of the largest and most sparsely populated regions of the country, with about 120,000 residents. The north is home to the semi-nomadic Himba, and on the Kunene River lie the Epupa Falls. The region's shore is part of the Skeleton Coast, desert-adapted elephants roam its dry riverbeds, and the ancient rock engravings of Twyfelfontein became Namibia's first World Heritage Site in 2007.
