Saint Croix is the largest of the US Virgin Islands, lying about 65 kilometres south of Saint Thomas. Its two towns, Christiansted and Frederiksted, keep the arcaded streets and pastel buildings of the Danish colonial era, and off its north-east coast lies the coral reef of Buck Island. The webcam looks over the harbour of Christiansted from a waterfront hotel.
