North Caicos is one of the greener and quieter islands of the Turks and Caicos, east of Providenciales across a shallow channel. It is known for its ponds and salt flats, where flocks of flamingos are often seen, and for long, empty beaches. The webcam shows Sandy Point Beach on the island's north-west shore, near the marina where ferries arrive from Providenciales.
