Crimeia is a Peninsula administered by Russia, situated south of Ukraine, surrounded by the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov, to the northeast. It is almost an island only connected to the continent by the Isthmus of Perekop (to mainland Ukraine), and by the Kerch Strait Bridge (to Russia). Crimeia is an excellent tourist destination featuring many historical buildings such as impressive castles and palaces; wonderful landscapes namely the Crimean Mountains, caves and striking lakes. There are seaside resort towns such as Yalta and mountain villages including Zelenogorye, set amongst stunning scenery.
