Northern Savonia, or formally Pohjois-Savo, is a region in central Finland. It shares borders with the regions of Kainuu, North Karelia, North Ostrobothnia, Central Finland and Southern Savonia. Kuopio is the region’s largest city, beautifully surrounded by lakes from three sides, featuring beaches and delightful views.
