Lesser Spotted Eagle nest, Zemgale Live Cam

Live webcam shows the Lesser Spotted Eagle's nest in the Zemgale region in southern Latvia. The camera in real time allows you to monitor the family of Lesser Spotted Eagle. Birds built this nest on a birch at a height of about 20 meters above the ground. Judging by the state of the branches, the nest is at least five years old (the lower parts are already partially broken).

The live webcam near the Lesser Spotted Eagle's nest in the forest in the south of Latvia works thanks to the Latvian Nature Fund in the framework of the project «Ensuring Protection of the Spotted Spot in Latvia» (LIFE AQPOM), which is funded by the LIFE + program of the European Commission and financed by the Administration of the Latvian Environmental Protection Fund. The camera operates around the clock in real time.
